Frequently asked
Can’t find it? WhatsApp us.
Do you employ the carers?
No. We’re postnatal care advisors. After planning your care, and with your explicit consent, we pass your enquiry to vetted partner providers, who set out costs and deliver the care directly.
When should I start looking?
As general guidance, start enquiring from around week 20 — earlier if your due date falls in a popular month (summer, around Lunar New Year). Every family is different.
How much does it cost?
Every family’s needs differ, so we don’t publish fixed prices. Once an advisor understands your due date, area, language and arrangement, you’ll receive personalised advice. Consultations are free and without obligation.
Is it free to enquire?
Yes — free and no obligation.
What does a confinement nanny do?
Typically newborn care (feeding, winding, bathing, sleep routines), support for mum’s recovery at home, confinement meals and soups, and practical guidance. Exact scope is set in the provider’s contract.
Are carers DBS checked?
Partner providers must confirm their carers hold an Enhanced DBS check, right-to-work and ID verification, references, paediatric first aid and appropriate insurance. You can ask to see evidence at interview.
Does TCM replace my GP or midwife?
No. TCM support is complementary wellbeing only and never replaces NHS care or medical advice. Please speak to your midwife or GP about any health concerns.
Who sees my details?
Only the partner providers you agree to in the form, solely to plan care. You can withdraw consent at any time — see our privacy notice.

Tell us your due date.
We’ll take it from there.
Two minutes, free, no obligation. We suggest suitable partner providers by area and language.
